Taken from the Family Bible of Phatuel & Mary Granger.
When I first started getting organised with the Grainger/Granger family history I bought a large book to record all of the information that I had started to collect. On the first page of the book are the monumental inscriptions on the headstone of Phatuel Granger and family. These can be seen in the odds & ends database, listed as Phatuel Granger’s family headstone 1 & 2.
Phatuel Granger married Mary Naylor, Aug 2nd 1845 at Monkwearmouth Church in Sunderland.

Sarah Hannah, daughter born 3am May 14 1846, Hartlepool.
Mary Alice, born 3.11am Nov 28 1847,Hartlepool. Died Aug 7 1889.
Abigale, born 10pm July 10 1849 at Middleton near H’pool. Died the same day.
John, born 6.30am. May 26,1850 at Hartlepool. Died Feb 2 1851.
Phatuel, born 5.30am Nov 23 1851 at Stranton.
Elizabeth Jane, born 5pm Aug 30 1853 at Pilot St. West Hartlepool
Died at Penarth Feb 13 1890.
John Leonard, born 5pm July 14 1855 at Hartlepool.
Isabel Grace born 6.50am June 6 1858 at West Hartlepool. Died Dec 13 1858.
Benjeman, born Aug 27 1859. Died the same day.
Thomas Naylor, born 5am Oct 14 1860 at West Hartlepool. Died 12 March 1861.
William Robert, born 7.30am March 12 1862 at West Hartlepool.
Benjeman Naylor, born Dec 13 1864 at West Hartlepool. Died Dec 16 1864.
Lavinia, born 4am July 1866 (Date not given.) at Hartlepool.
Catherine Naylor, born Oct 24 1868 at Hartlepool. Died June 23 1870.
